Take a an upright bass and add a 12 string guitar. Throw in a little brotherly love and abuse with a good ol' helping of Americana, and a touch of the Middle East and you have The Brothers Yares.

Ami Yares (12-string guitar/oud/banjo/vocals) and Gavri-Tov Yares (upright bass/vocals) perform American folk and rock music born in the wilds of Southern New Jersey and steeped in the bewilderment of the Middle East. Their music helps create social change, develop empathy and tolerance while getting audiences off their feet and moving to TBY's rootsy acoustic vibe.
